This 14 song LP is the debut album from the band known as DEAD AND GONE with their new vocalist. Musically they?re not too far off the beaten path tread upon by DEAD AND GONE; abrasive discordance fueled by bass driven rhythms, wailing vocals, thundering drums and noise-damaged guitar. Dark and brooding with just a touch of black eye mascara. Overall the record's moodiness and raw sound is reminiscent of bands: CHROME, BIG BLACK, DIE KREUZEN, LAUGHING HYENAS, or STEEL POLE BATHTUB. Complex and edgy songs that take you on a journey through urban wreckage.

The band (from Emeryville in the East Bay) started in the fall of '97 with their new line-up and have been busy writing and recording songs since. They are quite a regular fixture at Gilman Street. Wonders Of Giardia was recorded January 1999 at Polymorph in Oakland by Dan Rathbun. Members of CREEPS ON CANDY have also played in FILTH, BLATZ, TALK IS POISON and JACK ACID.
