"The secular socialist machine represents as great a threat to America as Nazi Germany or the Soviet Union once did." [In his book To Save America: Stopping Obama's Secular-Socialist Machine, May 2010.]
[At the Republican National Convention, August 1996]
[To Mother Jones magazine, October 1989]
[Address to Cornerstone Church in Texas, March 2011]
KILL FROM THE HEART
You're spending all your fuckin' time with school
Daddy's boy got some brand new cash
Come on fucker!
It's from the heart This is not an isolated or unusual incident. All over our country, this increasingly strong arm Gestapo-like organization is hunting down and stifling any and all Christian expression. And we deserve it - because we've let it happen. We didn't have to, but we did. Just today, I read Proverbs 21:22 "The wise conquer the city of the strong and level the fortress in which they (the strong) trust." From the fortress of the Democrat "strong," we heard a chant we thought was "change! change! change!" Now, as we listen closer, we're recognizing that it's "chains! chains! chains!"
If we the people are wise, we'll mobilize and level the fortress - while we can."
"... In contrast to the self-confidence and sunny demeanor that won over so many, Palin has become a sulking, suspicious diva. Quitting the governorship with 18 months left in her term only confirms that impression." ... as opposed to the imposition of torture (see: "waterboarding"), "unlawful combatant status," Guantanamo as a prison outside of U.S. law, invading & destroying Iraq...? Psst! Dick! You're talking about your old boss, not this new President!
"I am charged now with attacking the prime minister's guest. We Arabs are famous for being generous with guests. But Bush and his soldiers have been here for six years. Guests should knock on the door. Those who come sneaking in are not guests." "I did not know what achievements [Bush] was talking about. I was seeing a million martyrs, seas of Iraqi blood, the desecration of mosques, the raping of Iraqi women and the humiliation Iraqis endure every day, every hour. Because I am a journalist, I know all about that." "In that moment, I only saw Bush. I was feeling the blood of innocent people flow under my feet as he was smiling. I felt that he is the killer of my people, and I am one of those people. I became emotional because he's responsible for what is going on in Iraq, so I hit him with my shoe." --Muntadar al-Zaidi, at his trial (which does not resume until March 12).

"I always said, I would love to retire with one black bitch as our house pet . . ." "Do you think Tim has any of that semen?"
--New York Times article on breeding champion poodles.
"[W]hen the [National] Archives goes to open Cheney's papers, they are going to find empty boxes." --Stanley I. Kutler, Professor Emeritus, University of Wisconsin Law School
A judge rejected the claim by historians and nonprofits that the current administration may discard sensitive documents destined for the National Archives. Meanwhile, Dick Cheney attended Barack Obama's inauguration in a wheelchair because he pulled a back muscle lifting moving boxes. We're not the only ones wondering what was in those boxes that he absolutely had to carry them himself...and whether Cheney has friends who'd help him move for pizza and beers?? Cheney will now collect a pension worth $132,451 annually, courtesy of the taxpayers.
"I'm telling you there's an enemy that would like to attack America, Americans, again. There just is. That's the reality of the world. And I wish him all the very best." --George W. Bush, January 12, 2009.

We thought you may be interested in Slate's list of Top 25 Bushisms. Like these classic little morsels: "I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family."—Greater Nashua, N.H., Chamber of Commerce, Jan. 27, 2000 "Well, I think if you say you're going to do something and don't do it, that's trustworthiness."—CNN online chat, Aug. 30, 2000 "They misunderestimated me."—Bentonville, Ark., Nov. 6, 2000 "Too many good docs are getting out of the business. Too many OB/GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across the country."—Poplar Bluff, Mo., Sept. 6, 2004
Only eight more days left for the Bush administration! Things aren't gonna be peachy keen just because he's gone, but we're allowing ourselves to do a little happy dance. Don't let the door smack you in the ass...if you can even manage to open it, George!
"If Paulson was still an employee of Goldman Sachs and he'd done this deal, he would have been fired." --Joseph Stiglitz, 2001 Nobel Laureate in Economics, on the Wall Street bailout.
