07/09/08: Jello hangs with zombies, then with hackers

Just a friendly reminder that Jello will be in the zombie flick RetarDEAD, which will premiere this weekend at the Victoria Theatre in San Francisco. The film will show at the theater on July 11, 12, and 13. (There isn't a scheduled Jello appearance at any of the screenings...)

Also, Jello will once again be a featured speaker at the Last HOPE conference in New York. What will Jello have to say at a conference for hackers (HOPE stands for "Hackers on Planet Earth")? Maybe he will touch upon the FISA Amendments Act of 2008, on which the Senate will vote todayish.

07/01/08: Colorado's All Time Best Solo Artist (according to the Phoenix)

Jello was named the Best Solo Artist in a Boston Phoenix "50 Bands/50 States" list identifying the all-time best musicians (and new upcoming acts) from the United States proper. Sorry Puerto Rico! Jello was recognized alongside Apples In Stereo and Devotchka. Let the debating commence! "Jello Biafra" was conceived in San Francisco, as a yippie-fied provocateur (and leader of Dead Kennedys) battling Reaganomics with pith, politics, and poignancy that quickly transcended punk. (In a run for mayor of SF, his platform included a law mandating businessmen to wear clown suits. In a field of 10, he came in fourth.) But as any true Rocky Mountaineer knows, Jello's alter ego, Eric Reed Boucher, was born and raised in Boulder."

06/30/08: Jello as town mayor in zombie movie RetarDEAD

Why is Jello wearing a suit? Because he's the Mayor in the zombie flick RetarDEAD, which will premier on the weekend of July 11 at the Victoria Theatre in San Francisco.

06/13/08: Jello on "The Bone"

Jello will be interviewed on San Francisco's hard rock station "The Bone" and it will air midnight this Sunday the 15th of June. 107.7 FM in the Bay Area, and you should be able to listen online to Jello interviewed by Joe Rock

06/04/08: Biafra Five-O Poster #2 revealed!

Here is the poster design for Biafra Five-O by Chuck Sperry of Firehouse Kustom Rockart. Chuck designed the cover for Jello's Machine Gun in the Clown's Hand spoken word album, as well as posters for past AT events. Both Chuck Sperry's and Nat Damm's posters will be available for sale at Biafra Five-O.
