DOG FACED HERMANS
With Those Deep Buds, the last full length release (on Alternative Tentacles Records in the U.S. and De KonKurrent in Europe) by the Dutch-based 5-piece. The album, produced by Guy Fixsen, who has worked with the likes of The Breeders, My Bloody Valentine, and Moonshake, features 10 new songs recorded over the summer of 1994.

     Touring with the likes of Huggy Bear and Sebadoh for this record, and playing with, bands like God is my Co-Pilot, Rhythm Activism, and Trenchmouth, this band has turned more than a few heads with their a unique conglomeration: an eclectic hybrid of punk, jazz and a myriad of various ethnic styles.

As you may already know, Dog Faced Hermans are a side project from certain members of The EX.

     Those Deep Buds is the band's sixth album, following closely on the heel of their widely acclaimed live recording Bump and Swing. Dog Faced Hermans have long become a critics favorite!
